Officer
Hourly rate – £ROR
Applicants for this role will have a proven record within the security industry, military, and or have operational experience as a Police Constable or other Law Enforcement agent.

Briefly, as an Interforce officer you will be responsible for carrying out a number of functions traditionally the reserve for Police, such as addressing incidents of crime, anti-social behaviour, and disorder. You will be a public face of Interforce, representing the organisation at the highest of standards in an official capacity to help and reassure people, providing a new level of support and response. You must be physically fit and have a good understanding of the law, specifically Section 3 of Criminal Law Act, Common Law Breach of the Peace/Defence of Self/Others and PACE 24a.

Team Leader
Hourly rate – £ROR
Applicants for this role will have operational experience aligned to a UK Police Sergeant or above.

Briefly, in addition to the role of an officer, as a Team Leader you will form part of the operations team on the ground. You will be responsible for leading officers during deployment and ensuring objectives are competently achieved. Your experience will enable you to provide trusted guidance and make informed decisions where required, and providing liaison between Interforce offices and management. Your involvement may also require your skills and experience within operational planning stages.

Manager
Hourly rate – £ROR
Applicants for this role will have operational experience aligned to a UK Police Inspector or above.

Briefly, you will be responsible for the efficient delivery of interforce operations in line with its tactical plan. Usually, you will design and write the tactical plan in agreement with the operations team and, where applicable, the Chief Officer. You will manage a number of Team Leaders and officers when deployed, ensuring operations remain effective. On the lead up to deployments you will be expected to attend all relevant meetings as required by the operations team, becoming a key figure in the planning stage from start to finish, liaising with senior Police and Client officials.

LOCATIONS – UK Based, locations will vary. You must be prepared to travel. Where you are required to stay away from your local area, accommodation and meals on deployment will be provided.

QUALIFICATIONS – You will need an SIA Door Supervisors or Close Protection Licence before you can deploy with Interforce however, this is not required at the selection or training stages.

FITNESS – As part of our recruitment process you will need to achieve a minimum level of 5.4 over a 15m bleep test.

PLEASE NOTE: It is desirable for Team Leaders and Managers to have operational policing experience within the public order arena.

If appointed by Interforce, we will train you, and maintain your training, at no cost to you. Your uniform will be provided without charge.

EX-POLICE officers will be required to attend a 2-day Selection centre, if successful you will have immediate access to deployments.

IF YOU HAVE NO UK POLICE EXPERIENCE you will be required to attend a half day Assessment centre followed by 4 days training if successful.

You will not require an SIA License to attend a selection or assessment centre however, you will need to obtain a front-line SIA license before you can deploy, find out more about SIA licencing by going to www.sia.homeoffice.gov.uk
